•  World Peace Day is on 21st of September every year. Just before this day, 2017,  I had a dream. It was a dream that took me dressed in my priestly robes on a walk along the length of the country. I was expounding the message of Radical Peacefulness wherever I went; Peace of the individual, Peace in community and Peace as a whole world unity.

On Monday 30th October 2017 I started walking, with my good friend Dave Macfarlane, from my home city of Lancaster to our capital city of London, a journey of about 250 miles. My aim was to arrive at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London for the Remembrance Day Service on Sunday 12th November. Walking with humility, with the intention of open-heartedness, of deep listening, of offering my own insights into the Peace that lives in all of us.

We made it to 134 miles.......

A ligament problem on my left shin meant that by the time we reached Lichfield Cathedral I couldn't put my foot on the floor anymore. We had no option but to take our own advice on self compassion and to catch the train home. Dave and myself would like to thank all of our supporters, friends who offered us shelter and food, friends who stopped us for a chat, friends who offered us a cup of tea and a hug.

If you want to see the greatness of humanity then take a long walk. Take a long walk with humility.
